"Seems Like A Million Years"

Which is worse, too much time, or not enough?
That paradox leads me to the inspiration for this piece, Luke 12:25, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life”
This pendant represents the convoluted path I have travelled to finding peace in the middle of these surreal times. The title, “ Seems Like a Million Years” is my story in wire and stone of
how God’s answered my prayers in spite of my whining. Even though my circumstances haven’t changed, I am at this moment marveling how God uses time and pressure to create beautiful fossils like this ammonoid. How loving our God is, for a month I was anxious and whiny about what will become of ANDERSON SQUARE, while He was busy answering all my frustrated whining prayers of the last few years about the business taking all my time, and leaving no time to create jewelry.
So I found myself praying the prayer.
Thank you Lord, my God, for allowing me to cast my cares upon You. Thank you for loving me in spite of my whining and impatience. Most of all thank you for teaching me how to take advantage of the blessings bestowed during difficult times.
